Oily Skin
Oily skin has an oily, shiny sebum film. This is caused by increased sebum production.
The excess sebum hinders the shedding of the surplus skin cells, which often leads to clogged pores and thus to pimples or blackheads.
The excess sebum also provides an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, which makes the skin prone to inflammatory reactions.
