It was in the late 2000s, when our Hero, the future founder of the company and head of research and development at a Swiss Pharmaceutical company started to have a dream. Despite the existence of several effective ingredients to treat skin problems like acne, there were — besides pills based on isotretinoin coming with heavy side effects — no effective treatments available. He started to realize, that the reason may not be the ingredients, but the tools used to transport them to the skin.

All brands were offering products based on creams or serums to transport the active ingredients. But these delivery systems are full of additives. These are relevant for the cream, but bad for the skin.

So our hero, let’s call him Markus, started to think about delivery of ingredients, not about the ingredients themselves. The goal was set: Delivery of active ingredients without any additives. This would improve efficacy and reduce side effects.

Filabé skincare bases on high-tech microfiber cloth loaded with dried, liposomized active ingredients. Before use, the ingredients are activated with water.

  • Dried active ingredients means: no additives are required

  • Liposomized active ingredients means: fast and highly effective skin penetration

  • Micro-fiber tissue means: soft peeling with pore deep cleansing — no chemical cleansers are required

  • Activation with water means: purest and most natural form of activation

Process of manufacturing

The manufacturing is split by phases: knitting the fabric, liposomising ingredients and loading the fabric with them. Cutting and packaging. And last but not least — recycling used tissues received from clients. This all sounds easy but is truly high-tech. Made in Switzerland. From ingredient to tissue.
