Most of Filabé’s web pages and functions do not require visitors to register personally. However, some services require registration. In these cases, a form must be completed on the website being visited on which certain fields are mandatory (required fields) and others are optional. In doing so, visitors must sometimes choose a user name and password. If required fields are left blank, access to the desired website is declined and Filabé cannot meet the request for the service.
Filabé records personal data for the purposes disclosed to the individuals concerned during the registration process and/or whenever personal data must be provided. For example, personal data may be recorded in order to provide customers with products or services, to invoice customers for ordered products and services, to present products and services that are of interest to customers, or to communicate with customers for other reasons. Filabé stores personal data in accordance with the applicable legal and ethical reporting and/or documentation duties.

If a visitor to a Filabé website discloses their personal data upon request, the visitor has an unrestricted right to access, edit, and delete these data. Furthermore, visitors can prohibit Filabé from contacting them. Anyone who would like to contact Filabé in connection with the use of their personal data is asked to send an e-mail to email@example.com. In case of a request, Filabé asks the name of the website on which the data were provided as well as the data that are to be corrected, updated, or deleted. Filabé responds to requests quickly and appropriately. Requests to delete personal data are responded to in consideration of all applicable legal and ethical archiving and documentation duties.
- Security and confidentiality
In order to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data that are recorded by Filabé online, Filabé uses data networks that have state-of-the-art firewalls and password protection, among other things. Although Filabé cannot guarantee that the data will not be lost, misused, or changed, Filabé endeavors to avoid such incidents.
- Data transfer abroad
Filabé may transfer personal data to databases outside the individual concerned’s country of residence. Even if personal data are transferred to a country that does not require compliance with international data protection standards, Filabé nevertheless endeavors to ensure that an export of data to such a country is given adequate protection.
- Anonymous data, cookies, and tags
Filabé may record anonymous information about website visits, e.g. sites that are visited and searches that are carried out. Such anonymous information is used to better tailor the contents of the websites to customer needs and to gather statistics about the individual use of the websites for the purpose of internal marketing analyses. To this end, Filabé may install cookies that register the visitor's Internet provider as well as the date and time of a visit to one of its websites. The cookies used by Filabé do not serve to reveal an individual’s identity. A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to browsers and stored on the hard drive of the respective computer. Cookies do not damage the computer. Users can configure their browsers in such a way that a message appears on their screen when a cookie is placed. Filabé may use Internet tags, also referred to as single-pixel GIFs, in connection with cookies on Filabé websites or allow them to be used by third parties. These tags are located on online advertising material that direct users to the website as well as multiple places on the website itself. Filabé uses this technology to measure visitor response to the website and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. For example, this may include information about how often a page is opened and which information is retrieved. Tags and cookies enable a third party to collect anonymous data about visitors to other websites.
Filabé does not use tags or cookies to locate or collect information that may serve to identify individual visitors, e.g. names, addresses, e-mail addresses, or telephone numbers.
The functions of the Twitter service are integrated into our websites. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. By using Twitter and the “re-tweet” function, the websites you visit become linked to your Twitter account and are disclosed to other users. In the process, data such as the IP address, browser type, domains retrieved, sites visited, mobile wireless carriers, device and application IDs, and search terms are transmitted to Twitter.

You can use the Google +1 button to publish information worldwide. By clicking on the Google +1 button you and other users will receive personalized content from Google and its partners. Google also stores the information that you assigned content a +1 as well as information about the page that you viewed when you clicked on +1. Your +1 selections can be displayed as information together with your profile name and your photo in Google services such as search results, your Google profile, or in other places on websites and online ads.
Google records information about your +1 activities in order to improve Google services for you and others.
In order to use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile that must contain at least the name selected for the profile. This name is used for all Google services. In some cases, this name can also replace another name that you have used when sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be displayed to users who know your e-mail address or have other identifying information about you.
In addition to the intended uses described above, the information you provide is also used in accordance with the applicable Google data protection regulations (http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/). Google may publish summarized statistics about the +1 activities of users and/or share these statistics with our users and partners, e.g. publishers, advertisers, or related websites.
- Personal information and children
Filabé will not knowingly record or disclose to third parties the personal data of children under the age of 13 without obtaining the prior approval of the legal representative (e.g. a parent or guardian) by means of direct contact. Filabé will notify the legal representative of the personal data that were collected on the child and give the person with parental custody the ability to prohibit the further recording, use, or storage of the child’s personal data. Compliance with laws for the protection of children is a matter of course for Filabé.
